This is an antique architectural detail that has been rescued from a Regency interior. and there are several layers of old paint to testify to various treatments over time.

We also have another identical moulding that has been painted with gloss paint at sometime. ..A potential project for someone who would enjoy the satisfying job of stripping it back if they wanted a pair.
