The scallop shell has been used as a symbolic and decorative device since early times.
I have used the concave reflective qualities to throw light efficiently and prettily .
You may find hand drawn candles that fit the shell sconces on these pages.They have been selected for quality and have a long burn time.

Jane Knapp's silver-plated candle holder is inspired by a 17th century Dutch design. Attached to the wall by a loop, it may be hung by a picture pin and easily removed for cleaning. The deep beaten shell reflects the light of a flame very effectively.
