| About Us Jane Knapp has worked on a variety of major projects both as an interior design consultant and as an artist. Her work has involved the refurbishment and redecoration of stately homes, museums, churches and follies.
Frustrated by the lack of lighting to suit both the contemporary and antique interiors of her clients, Jane resolved to design and manufacture her own, the Vathek and Gothic ranges came first, inspired by old interiors from Moorish Spain and the elusive patination of old armour. The dramatic Queen design swiftly followed, created to light the hall of a medieval manor house. The need for pendant lighting prompted the range of Star and Pyramid Lanterns and the Beckford chandeliers. Brass and Nickel Scallop Sconces and Desk Lights were produced to complement the look. Recent inspirations have been the Mezzaluna, a sleek and desirable uplighter and The Leaf Lights,Monstera, Hosta, Philodendron and Agave leaves translated into burnished copper or brilliant nickel plate. Further dramatic designs have reached prototype stage and should be in production soon, including a huge multi centric pendant.
