Vatheks
This design reflects the romantic and exotic elements woven around the tale" Vathek", a Gothic novel written in the late 18th century by William Beckford, wealthy art collector, traveller and builder of Fonthill Abbey in Wiltshire and Beckford's tower, Bath.

The Vathek floods the wall with atmospheric patterns of light giving a relaxing and calming effect. It is available in Verdigris, Iron, Nickel Silver and Copper, in two sizes: Vathek Long and Vathek.
EACH WALL LIGHT IS SUPPLIED WITH AN ANGLED LAMPHOLDER OF 60 WATT CAPACITY THAT CONFORMS TO EEC SAFETY STANDARDS.
Fittings for North America or the continent are supplied on request for no extra charge.

This fitting is made from heavy gauge copper. It is hand beaten to form its shape and then hand polished. Usually the metal needs a quick clean twice a year to maintain the bright copper colour.
(It can also be supplied with an aged copper effect that will not need polishing.)
The picture shows the dramatic shadows cast when the fitting is lit.
